[For Shadow]
Ainsley normally had issues with saying too much and not stopping soon enough and going on and on and on and now, to her horrible surprise, it seemed like not only was she talking entirely too much, but she was also telling the truth. And while that wasn't so bad around people who already knew her political and personal leanings, there was a teensy, tiny, little problem.
That happened to be her personal life.
And oh, God, she was so not looking forward to any of those questions. It wasn't as if she wanted to hide, either. That would just make her look more guilty as she'd grown used to seeing certain people every day, especially now that she lived in a hut far, far closer to them.
Like a certain man she happened to be dating. There was that issue, of course.
Oh dear God in heaven, why couldn't Ainsley have just been struck mute?

"We can do the blindfold next," he murmured against ehr mouth as he put his arm around her waist and pulled her flush against him. "We can do it all, everything you think about."

She pulled away from the kiss with a murmur of longing, a smile on her lips. "What do you want to do, most?"
no subject
"I want to go down on you," Shadow murmured against her mouth without reservation, though there's no telling if he'd have said it otherwise, if she hadn't asked him.

After getting his shirt off, he looked at her for a moment, breathing hard. "Okay. On the bed with us."

He spread his hands. "I'm the bastard of a Norse god, didn't go to college and used to work construction. You are so sharp and so bright with this fierce light, and you know so much. I don't know why you give me the time of day." He kissed her knee again, because he wanted to keep looking at her, even if he couldn't stop talking. "I am so very glad of it though."

She eased back, nudging off her jeans very slowly to get herself down to the smallest item of clothing.

He eased himself out of his jeans, then leaned forward to cup her cheek and press a gentle kiss against her mouth. "I love you," Shadow murmured to her. "I love you."

"What do you want to do now?" He asked almost playfully, just to hear what she'd say.

She wanted this, they'd work it out. "Alright, we'll do that. Make it real good for you." He tipped his head to glance at the rest of her house. "Have you got a scarf or something to use?"

He met her eyes and then gently pushed a wisp of her hair out of her face. "Okay?"

Then Shadow pulled back to look at her, smile widening as her finger skim blindly over his chest and shoulders. "How's it feel?" He murmured as he leaned in to kiss her again while his hand curled around to rest against the curve of her ass.
